Craps Insights
Few games of chance are as storied and as revered by gamblers
as craps, which is also known as one of the fairest games offered
by a casino as the house edge is unusually low.
Craps is a dice game that will dominate the noise level of
a brick and mortar casino as it brings a lot of yelling, hollering,
and cheering players to the table. Only a race and sports book
can match the uproar of a craps table at the typical Las Vegas
casino.
The excitement of craps has now been translated online. It
is a fast paced and simple game and yet offers many different
wagering options and strategies. It has often been said that
craps offers many games within the game for a gambler.
The most common bet in craps is the pass line bet in which
gamblers wager on whether or not the dice shooter will win his
point or not. This kind of wager could take several dice rolls
to determine.
The come out roll is the first dice roll to determine the shooter’s
point. A 7 or 11 is an automatic win for the pass line while
a 2, 3, or 12 is an automatic loss. Any other roll of the dice
is a “point” and the shooter must roll that exact
same number again BEFORE rolling a 7 in order to make his point.
After the come out roll when a point is established the gamblers
can wager on whether or not the shooter will make his point
or not.
Playing free online craps is a great way to learn the game
and the pace of the online version and is highly recommended,
even with veteran craps players from brick and mortar casinos.
